The festive season is just around the corner, and we’ve got a brilliant line-up of workshops and events at Ermington Store and More to help you get into the Christmas spirit! Whether you fancy getting creative, finding a few unique gifts, or simply soaking up the seasonal atmosphere, there’s something for everyone this November and December.
✨ Thursday 27 November, 7 p.m. Christmas Wreath Workshop
Join us for a relaxed, hands-on evening creating your own beautiful Christmas wreath. All materials are provided, along with a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie or two to keep the creativity flowing! £35 per person. Booking essential.
🛍 Saturday 29 November, 9.30 a.m. Table Top Sale
Time for a pre-Christmas clear-out — or perhaps the perfect opportunity to pick up a few gifts for family and friends! Come along, browse the stalls, and enjoy a coffee and cake while you shop.
🕯 Sunday 30 November Lantern-Making Day
Get ready for the Ermington Twilight Fair by joining one of our popular lantern-making workshops!
10 a.m. Family Lantern Workshop: Families can work together to make a large willow lantern to carry in the parade. All materials supplied. £20 per family.
2 p.m. Children’s Lantern Workshop: A fun and creative afternoon session for children to make their own smaller lanterns. All materials supplied. £5 per child.
🌟 Saturday 6 December Ermington Twilight Fair
Our magical Twilight Fair returns! The evening begins with a lantern parade from the Square to the Church, led by the energetic rhythms of the Crooked Roots samba band. Once at the Church, you’ll find a treasure trove of local crafts, artworks, and gifts, perfect for some festive shopping. Refreshments will be available, so stay and enjoy the atmosphere!
🌿 Friday 12 December, 7 p.m. Christmas Centrepiece Workshop
Create a stunning table decoration for your Christmas celebrations using locally sourced greenery, candles, and festive touches. Mulled wine and mince pies included, of course! £25 per person. All materials supplied.
🎀 Saturday 13 December, 2 p.m. Christmas Wreath Workshop
If you missed the first session, here’s another chance to make your own festive wreath, complete with mulled wine, mince pies, and plenty of good company. £35 per person.
